I definitely have a thing for mobiles. I’ve made and given away half a dozen in the past year (the Year of the Babies), and I quite like this latest one. It goes with the Nursery Trees mural my best friend/sis-in-law and I created for her baby’s nursery. And it’s super easy to make!

I spray-painted the blue and green hoops, and used acrylic paint on the pink. I used the same pattern for the birds as the ones on Evie’s wall, and then just tied the hoops together with ribbon I already had. Since all I had to buy for this project were embroidery hoops (find at any craft store), this cost me less than $4!
Thanks to Creative Jewish Mom for the idea! (Head over to her site for instructions.)

Amy, I love, love, love this mobile! Thanks for sharing – I’m totally going to make one for Zoe and Darby’s room. Embroidery hoops…..awesome!
It’s super-simple. And you can use the inside hoops for one, and make another with the outside hoops. I want to see a pic once you hang it!
