I’ve amassed a small storehouse of soy sauce and condiment packets that have been sitting in the top corner of my pantry for ages. I tossed them in a big ziplock bag, and there they’ve stayed, untouched.
Last week my soy sauce bottle ran dry and I was inspired to transfer my packet collection to something more accessible… an orphaned tupperware container (which I use for teas too). So much better! Ziplock bags may hold things well, but they don’t organize well because there’s no structure to them. I much prefer a plastic cup, an empty flower pot, or cute bowl to corral that set of markers or hotel soaps. Plus, things are easier to get out — and more importantly — put away in containers!
